Extra Curricular Activities
ECAs
Activities run both after school and at lunch time this year and are a combination of teacher-led ECAs and externally-led ECAs, which have a cost associated.
There will be an ECA sign-up process for each quarter/term of the year.

MS Sports newsA very big congratulations goes out to the U14 Boys Soccer Team. They finished 1st place in the Division 4 ACSIS League. Well done boys!

Most Valuable Player- Naoki Tamanyu Naoki demonstrated lots of hard work and dedication during training and games. He is the pillar in the midfield line and always motivates his teammates. He is always disciplined and ready to listen. Most Improved Player- Mark Hughes Mark has shown a huge improvement from Elementary to Middle School. He shows lots of dedication in training and is not afraid to try out new things learnt when training in game situations. Coaches Choice Award- Brennan Eng Brennan always shows a positive attitude to training and games. ISS Sporting TeamsStudents will also have the opportunity to participate
in the ISS Sporting Teams on offer during the year. Training and game days will be scheduled on a TUESDAY and THURSDAY afternoon. Cross Country is an exception as they have 3 events held on Wednesday 9 September, 23 September and 7 October. There is a Thursday afternoon training to help prepare students for these competitions. Sign-ups for teams can be found on the ECA noticeboard and in the quarterly online sign-up form. The leagues this year are:
ISS U14 Boys Basketball Team - Mr Jonas and the boys are currently playing in the final season. We wish them luck in the league. Stay tuned for results soon.
ISS Cross Country Team - Thanks goes to Ms Allan for coaching the team and taking the group to participate in varied running competitions.
Girls Football ECA - Although we were not able to enter a full team into the league this year, Ms Allan coached a Girls Football ECA. The girls were enthusiastic in learning new skills and playing games. Well done girls!

Middle School productionThis year Mr Bruno Alen Lebon produced the
'MIDDLE SCHOOL'S got TALENT Showcase'. This has run as an ECA over Quarter 2 and 3. The show, held on the 9 & 10 March was a wonderful showcase of the Middle School student's talent. Thank you to parents, teachers, families, friends and all those who showed their support and attended this cabaret event. A very big congratulations goes to Mr Lebon, all the grade 6, 7 and 8 performers and all the other staff involved in making the production a great success! This was a fund-raising event supporting the education of 3 children ISS sponsor at Sok Sabay, in Cambodia. Mr Lebon and the talent show performers in rehearsals getting ready for the big show.
